Aloo Gobi Curry- potatoes Cauliflower curry

Aloo gobi curry, a spicy Indian curry of aloo and gobi with a spicy gravy of cashew nuts and poppy seeds is one such basic dish in Indian cooking, which is not just palatable and delicious but healthy as well. The potato and cauliflower submerged in the aromatic spicy gravy is simply inviting and treat to the taste buds.

Today we will prepare simplest and Easy dish every Indian & Every husband ,children love it.

Ingredients :-

1.

2 potatoes

2.

250 grams cauliflower

3.

2 Onions

4.

2 Tomatoes( pureed)

5.

8-10 Garlic crush

6.

3-4 Green chillies

7.

1 inch Ginger

8.

2 tbsp oil

9.

As per taste Salt

10.

1/2 tsp Turmeric powder

11.

2 tsp Red kashmiri chilli powder

12.

5-6 Curry leaves

13.

1 tsp Garam masala

14.

1 tsp Coriander powder

15.

Pinch asafoetida

16.

1 tsp cumin seed

17.

As-Required Coriander

18.

1 tsp Ghee

 

 

 

 

Steps:-

 

1.  Cut potato into small cubes, cauliflower in small piece then boil in a cooker for 1 whistle.

 

2.  Take a mixie jar add onion, green chilli and ginger grind it coarsely not smooth paste.

 

3.  Then heat the Kadhai add oil, then cumin seed after crackles of cumin seed add crush garlic then add Onion, garlic, ginger paste sauté till raw smell goes.

 

4.  Then add garam masala, coriander powder, turmeric powder, Kashmiri chilli saute for 1 min in low flame then add tomato puree, salt mix it well saute till oil separates from the masala.

 

5.  Then add boil potato and cauliflower mix it well then add water.

 

6.  Cook for 5-6 Minutes in medium flame.

 

7.  Then take small pan add ghee when ghee is hot add pinch of asafoetida, cumin seed and Curry leaves after that give tadka to the gravy.

 

8.  Gravy thickness depends upon you. Add water if you like more gravy.

 

9.  Garnish with coriander leaves.

 

10.         You can add boil green peas too in gravy
