Ingredients for Tomato And Paneer Soup Recipe

Tomatoes 3 medium

Oil 2 teaspoons

Spring onions chopped 2 stalks

Garlic 4 cloves

Ginger 1 inch piece

Tomato ketchup 4 tablespoons

Vegetable stock 4 cups

Salt to taste

White pepper powder to taste

Cornflour/ corn starch 3 tablespoons

Paneer (cottage cheese) small cubes 2 tablespoons

Egg whites 2

White vinegar 2 teaspoons

Method

Step 1

Heat oil, add chopped spring onion bulbs and sauté on high heat. Add ginger and garlic and sauté for some time. Add chopped tomatoes, tomato ketchup and vegetable stock and let the mixture boil. Season with salt and white pepper powder.

Step 2

Mix corn flour in a little water and make a smooth paste. Add paneer cubes and the corn flour paste to the boiling soup to thicken.

Step 3

Add egg whites and the chopped stem of the spring onion and mix. Lastly add white vinegar, mix and serve hot.


Prep Time : 11-15 minutes

Cook time : 16-20 minutes

Serve : 4
